To celebrate our company’s 35th anniversary, Cheng & Tsui is hosting a special video contest to showcase the fun and excitement of language learning. The Cheng & Tsui International “Language in Motion” Video Contest pushes students learning Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean to use their language skills in a playful and unique way!
What is Language in Motion? (Watch the contest promo video)
To participate in the International "Language in Motion" Video Contest, form a teacher-led group and film a 2-5 minute video using your language skills in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Arabic. There are no rules for what your video subject must be--just be creative in sharing your language or cultural knowledge. Here are a few ideas that may help inspire your filming:
Idea 1: Make your own Kù Chinese video in your learned language
Idea 2: Act out dialogues or scenes from your Cheng & Tsui textbook
Ideal 3: Conduct a “cultural exchange” with students of other languages
Or, show how to make or do something that is culturally important in your learned language! Involve your entire class or just a few students, the participation is up to you!
