Tsumiki 1 Student Book

In the Tsumiki 1 Student Book, students follow two main characters from Australia, Andrew and Mariana, as they learn Japanese. In Units 1-5 Andrew and Mariana communicate with Japanese students who are visiting their schools and homes, and in Unit 6 they fly to Japan for homestay visits with host families in Osaka and Tokyo. Topics are immediately useful to students, and include numbers, friends and family members, school, leisure and daily routines, and traveling and staying in Japan. With rich color illustrations and black & white photography, Tsumiki 1 will capture students’ imagination as they join Andrew and Mariana in their adventure of learning Japanese.
