Practical Chinese Reader Companion

Designed to supplement the first and second books of Practical Chinese Reader, this series contains lecture notes, perforated homework pages, and useful appendices, and corresponds one-to-one with lessons in that series. The Companion books may also be used with New Practical Chinese Reader, as most of the grammar points are introduced in NPCR as well. The PCR Companions are divided into three volumes, rather than two, to allow more flexibility and a better fit with a quarter system. Simplified or traditional editions are available.
