New Practical Chinese Reader, Volume 4 Textbook

Designed to cover the fourth term in a 3-year course, the New Practical Chinese Reader (NPCR), Volume 4 Textbook aims to develop the student’s ability to communicate using Chinese through the study of language structure and function, related cultural knowledge, and training in listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Each lesson contains Text, New Words, Notes, Conversation Practice, Reading Comprehension, Phonetics, Grammar, Characters and Cultural Notes. The NPCR series uses several fictional characters in different situations to make the Chinese learning experience more enjoyable.

Upon completion of the Volume 4 Textbook, students will be able to express themselves to a greater extent both verbally and in writing through paraphrasing, by complaining or praising, expressing something in indefinite amounts, and other means of expression.
