Japanese: the Spoken Language

Stressing Japanese as it is spoken today in Japan, this three-volume series introduces the language in a systematic fashion and in manageable segments. Core conversations—all brief and natural—cover situations in which foreigners typically find themselves, such as ordering food and asking for directions, as well as more complex interactions.
