Flying with Chinese, Grade 4C Student Book

The Flying with Chinese student book offers age-appropriate fun with age-appropriate Chinese language learning strategies.

Textbook lessons are centered around brightly illustrated stories that are specially written to appeal to young readers. Each story introduces engaging characters depicted in universal contexts, and they become more complex as the lessons progress.

Three new hanzi are introduced in each lesson, along with new vocabulary words using a combination of previously learned characters, for a total of between 90–130 characters for grades 4–6. An “I Can Do These Things” section at the end of each lesson outlines learning objectives and a checklist to give students a sense of accomplishment and progress.
