Chinese Unmasked addresses common pitfalls and problems language learners encounter in the study of Mandarin Chinese.

The resource book and student workbook focus specifically on core grammar principles covered in a first-year Chinese course. The Resource Book consists of 14 modules. Each module offers detailed and clear explanations of the grammar topic/pattern covered, as well as numerous helpful example sentences. The Student Book contains exercises that accompany each topic covered in the Resource Book; questions are in pinyin and simplified Chinese characters. Exercises include multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, translations, and short and long answer. (Please note that an answer key is not available for the exercises.)
