Chinese Odyssey, Volumes 5 & 6 Multimedia CD-ROM (Lab)

The Chinese Odyssey, Volumes 5 & 6 set of four multimedia CD-ROMs bring together an effective learning environment of images, video, audio, text, and exercises, enabling students to practice language skills in a dynamic way. CD-ROMs contain all the grammar, vocabulary, lessons, and exercises in their respective levels, and can be used as a stand-alone course for those who prefer multimedia-based learning, or in conjunction with the textbook and workbook for those who prefer to work with some printed materials. This item corresponds to the Volume 5 and Volume 6 textbook and workbook, and is intended to cover the third year of Chinese for students in high school or college. CD-ROMs contain both traditional and simplified characters.

Minimum Requirements

Windows min. req.: Windows 2000 or higher, 500 MHz Pentium III 500 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM, 500 MB free hard disk space, 8x CD-ROM drive, a sound card with speakers or headphones, and a microphone for recording; the freely downloadable programs DirectX® 8.0, Windows Media® Player 9 or higher, and Macromedia® Flash™ Player. 1.5 GB required to run all components from hard drive. This option is recommended for greater speed and ease of use. Not compatible with MS Vista.
