Chinese Odyssey, Vol. 2, Textbook/Workbook (Traditional)

The Chinese Odyssey, Volume 2 combined textbook and workbook comprises the second semester of a first-year Chinese course for students in high school or college. Its ten lessons emphasize pronunciation and the use of colloquial expressions, to put students on the right track to speaking Chinese accurately and fluently. Written Chinese is also introduced, but at a slower pace than the spoken language.

Volume 2 topics include letter writing, making and receiving phone calls, and dating. In this combined textbook and workbook, the workbook exercises are found in a separate section at the back of the book, and are perforated so students can tear them out and hand them in to their teacher. Chinese Odyssey, Volume 2 completes the first year in a series of flexible courseware that can accommodate different learning styles and teaching environments.
