Baby Learns Chinese is a series of DVDs and flashcards developed by a group of dedicated Chinese educators based on research that shows that children from birth to age six learn languages at an extraordinary rate. Chinese characters are taught using a mixture of colorful animation, live action clips, clear and repetitive pronunciation, and sing-alongs. Each of the three DVDs cover different basic themes: Disc 1 contains “Body”, “Counting”, and “Color & Shapes”, Disc 2 includes “Fruits” and “Food”, and Disc 3 covers “Farm Animals” and “Wild Animals”. DVDs also have the option of traditional or simplified character instruction.
