How can I request permission to reprint material from one of your books?

Please send us a permission request including all of the following information:

  • The author, title, date, and page numbers of the material for which you are requesting permission
  • The length of the excerpt and, ideally, a copy of the specific material to be excerpted along with a copy of the pages from your book/article in which it is used
  • If you are working on a book: the author(s), publisher, anticipated date, approximate length, textbook vs. trade book, expected price, anticipated 1st print run of your book
  • If you are working on an article: the author(s), journal title, anticipated date of publication of your article
  • The type of rights requested: English/all languages, world/North American
