the materials you need to make informed textbook decisions. There are
two options available for exam copies. Please note that reference
materials, audio/video materials, and computer software are not eligible,
but some of these products may have free samples available on the Cheng
& Tsui web site (www.cheng-tsui.com ) Check the individual item listing
under "Related Downloads".
OPTION 1:
We lend out any textbook, published or exclusively distributed by Cheng & Tsui, that is suitable for course adoption.
- You can borrow materials for an initial period of 60 days, with extensions available upon written request.
- Borrowed books are secured with either a signed purchase order from your school or a valid MasterCard or Visa number, with billing address and expiration date. PLEASE NOTE: We will not charge your credit card or process the PO unless the 60-day examination period ends without word from you about your adoption decision.
- If you decide to keep the book without adoption, you can purchase it outright at the end of the exam period at the regular list price. We can process this payment with your credit card or switch to a different form of payment that you specify at that time.
- If you decide to adopt the book and order 20 or more copies, you may keep the book as a free desk copy. (Teacher's manuals and certain titles Cheng & Tsui does not publish or have exclusive distribution rights are not eligible. Please contact us for more information about which items are eligible). Please notify us in writing of your adoption as soon as possible.
- If you don't want to adopt or purchase the book, you may return exam copies in saleable condition at your expense. You will receive a copy of our exam policy with your invoice, along with return instructions and a return authorization number. If you don't send us notification, you will receive a statement, which you will need to either pay or answer with statement of intent to adopt.
OPTION 2:
Exam copies of many of our textbooks and workbooks may be purchased by qualifying instructors at a discount of 50% off the list price for Cheng & Tsui publications or 20% off the list price for series that we exclusively distribute. Teacher's manuals or resource books, reference books, audio or video materials, and software may not be purchased at these discounts but certain titles may be borrowed (see above). Prepayment or a school purchase order is required. Books purchased in this way are not returnable and may not be converted to desk copies.
