If you are an instructor and your school has purchased textbooks and supplementary materials for use in your course, you may be eligible to receive complimentary desk copies. Desk copies are available to instructors at both the K-12 and university levels, for Cheng & Tsui titles and exclusively distributed titles. Software, audio CDs, and reference materials, such as teacher's manuals are NOT eligible for desk copies.
Please use the following guidelines when requesting desk copies:
- Requests must be made in writing on official school letterhead, or with a school (.edu) e-mail address.
- Requests are accepted via mail, fax, or e-mail (orders@cheng-tsui.com).
- The class must have a minimum enrollment of 20 students in order to qualify for desk copies.
- Please include the instructor’s name, course name, estimated student enrollment, title, and ISBN number for all materials requested. Please indicate that an order has been placed, or will be placed, with your school bookstore.
The most commonly requested titles that we distribute which are NOT eligible to be taken as desk copies are:

- Chinese Made Easy
- Genki
- Korean Conversations
- Learning Chinese with Me
- Sogang Korean
