If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply contact us in order to return it within 30 days of the date of purchase. Books must be in saleable condition. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization; please contact us for a return authorization number before sending books back to us.
Please Note: All software, audio CDs, audio tapes, video CDs, videotapes, and field test editions are nonreturnable.
Schools
- A written request is required for all returns. Please send us your request for permission to return by fax, mail, or e-mail.
- Requests to return must be made within 30 days of receipt of materials.
- Materials must be in saleable condition.
- Not all materials are returnable. Please e-mail us at orders@cheng-tsui.com or call us at (800) 554-1963 if you're not sure.

Book Retailers and Distributors
- A written request is required for all returns, whether overstock, damaged or defective.
- A return authorization number (RA#) must be assigned for all accepted returns. This number must be clearly visible on the outside of the package. Without the RA# on the outside of the package, delivery will be refused and the package will be returned at your expense.
- The RA# is a six-digit number located in the upper right-hand corner of the return authorization form. Please include all zeros.
- Requests to return damaged, defective, and class cancellation books must be made within 30 days of receipt of materials. Canceled class returns are subject to a 10% to 25% re-stocking fee. We do not accept returns from schools except when the book is damaged or defective, or the class was canceled.
- When conditions below are met, full credit will be issued for use against future purchases. Any books received in less than saleable condition will be discarded with no credit given unless you provide us your UPS or Fedex collect account number with the return so that we can send them back to you.
- Returns must be made within 90 days of receipt of authorization of return.
