Customer Service Specialist (Full-time)

POSITION: Customer Service Specialist (Full-time)

FUNCTION: To provide excellent customer service, order entry, inside sales, invoicing, data entry support for a growing publisher and distributor of Asian studies educational materials. Also will assist management team with a variety of tasks including general office administration.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience with PC computers, data entry, customer service phone inquiries, word processing, filing. Prefer an individual who is totally committed to a career in customer service, who recognizes the importance of excellent service through accurate and timely processing of orders and inquiries. Ability to communicate well in English on phone and in writing. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be thorough and detail-oriented. Must be able to work well in a team setting, be flexible for multitasking while being efficient, and remain calm and pleasant in a fast-paced environment, especially when dealing with customers on the phone. Ability to execute up-sell and cross-sell programs as instructed highly desired. Minimum two years of business experience. Minimum typing speed 55 wpm. Strong interest in books and Asian bilingual speaker a plus.
